Family Session Location Guide
In this guide are recommended locations for family sessions. Each location included photos but please note that the look of some locations will vary throughout the year. I have include permit information for locations that require it. Travel fees have been listed for locations greater than the mileage covered in my sessions.
Local Locations
These locations can be used for my ‘local’ family sessions which are 30 minutes. They, of course, can be used for hour long sessions as well.
San Dimas - Scarborough
This location is a trail filled with large trees and shade with many beautiful backdrops. Great location during all seasons. It is easily accessible but does require a bit of walking.
Available for morning and evening sessions.
LaVerne - Park
A beautiful small field with large trees at a park in La Verne. Easy parking and minimal walking involved.
Available for morning & evening sessions.
Glendora - Arboretum
A small easily accessible garden with great areas to shoot all year long but is particularly beautiful when flowers are blooming in Spring. Easy parking and minimal walking involved.
Available for evening sessions only.
San Dimas - Horsetheif
A field with large beautiful trees. Easy parking right next to the field. Also has long grass in the Spring.
Available for morning and evening sessions.
Pasadena - Eaton Canyon
A series of small trails next to a nature center. Great backdrop of the mountains and beautiful light at sunset. Easy access and parking.

Pasadena - City Hall
City hall has beautiful architecture, a garden and long bright hallways. Easy parking in front or back of building.
Available for Sunday morning sessions only due to crowds and work hours.
San Dimas - Sycamore
A beautiful open field that is green in Spring.
Available morning and afternoon. This location requires a walk up a flight of stairs.
Claremont - Higginbotham
Great park with tons of trees, greenery, and a walking trail. Easy parking and access.
Available for morning and evening sessions.
Claremont - Colleges
Beautiful campus with tree lined walkways and buildings.
Permit - $50 less than 10 people
$75 10-20 people
Pasadena - Desiderio Park
A small, well kept park underneath a bridge. Great all year round. Easy parking and access.
Available for morning and evening sessions but evening will get better views of the bridge.
Rancho Cucamonga - Red Hill Park
Large park with a lake and green vines. Easy parking and access.
Available for evening sessions only.
Pasadena - Hahamonga Park
A small area of a Hahamonga park with tons of trees, easy parking and access.
Available for afternoon and evening sessions.
Pasadena - Lower Arroyo Seco
Tree lined trail and creek bed. Easy parking and trail access.
Available for evening weekday sessions only.
Claremont - Train Station
The Claremont metrolink station is a great, old building with nice lighting and backdrops. Easy parking and accessibility.
Available for evening sessions.
Non Local Locations
Venice Beach Canals
Four canals with lined with unique homes, colors and boats. We can end this session with some photos on the sand!
Available for evening sessions only.

El Matador State Beach
The most beautiful beach with large rocks and caves.
Available for morning and evening weekday sessions only.
Available October-April only
This beach requires a walk down a long staircase to access.
Permit - $100

Will Rogers Beach
A quiet beach along PCH with great sunsets. Easy parking.
Available October-April only

Mt. Baldy
Get the most amazing backdrops at this Angeles Forrest location. Easy to get to! There is walking and driving involved in this location to get to the best photo locations.
Available for evening sessions only.
Not available December-February
Cabazon Dinosaurs
A fun location for photos with your kids. The dinosaurs are sometimes painted different colors throughout the year. Easy access and parking.
Available for early morning or evening sessions.

Crystal Cove State Park
A beautiful Newport Beach location with a nature trail above the beach.
Available for evening sessions only.
